Governance
Governance should make responsibility visible, constrain power and create a reliable path from concern to action. This page sets out our intended foundation.
Publishing the intended model now gives the public a standard against which later disclosures can be assessed, without presenting a draft as an adopted constitution.
Proposed structure
Accountability should not blur between governance, management, delivery and advice.

Responsible decisions
Material decisions should be made at the right level, with relevant interests known and a record suited to their importance.
Record who can decide, advise, approve expenditure and represent the organisation.
Declare relevant personal, professional, financial or political interests before a decision.
Keep proportionate records of material decisions, dissent, approvals and conditions.
Revisit material decisions and publish information where public accountability requires it.
Independence & political neutrality
The Yuva Project is not affiliated with and does not campaign for any political party or candidate. Organisational platforms, events, data, branding and volunteer networks must not be used for party-political activity.
